RGC brings 40+ years of prevention expertise to global gaming standards work

TORONTO, [MARCH 12, 2026] — The Responsible Gambling Council (RGC) has joined the International Gaming Standards Association (IGSA) Responsible Gambling Committee as a Partner Member. The appointment positions RGC to contribute its evidence-based research and prevention expertise to the development of global responsible gambling standards.

IGSA is a non-profit trade association that develops standards and best practices for gaming operators, regulators, and suppliers worldwide. Its Responsible Gambling Committee brings together stakeholders from across the global gaming industry to shape the standards that govern player protection practices.

“Global standards for responsible gambling require input from those working closest to the evidence,” said Tracy Parker, SVP, Accreditation, Advisory and Insights at RGC. “Being part of IGSA’s committee means RGC can help ensure those standards reflect what we know actually works to prevent harm.”

RGC’s membership on the committee reflects the organization’s commitment to influencing responsible gambling practices at a global level. With experience spanning player-facing programs, operator accreditation, and research, RGC brings a practitioner’s perspective to standards discussions that affect how gambling harm prevention is implemented across jurisdictions.

The committee began its work this month.
