Health Inequities Among East and South Asian Gamblers During COVID-19: Key Risk Factors and Comorbidities

Dr. Alex Price is a Senior Researcher with the Centre for the Advancement of Best Practices, at the Responsible Gambling Council. Over the past year and a half, he has conducted and published high impact research on the effects of gambling during the pandemic and advanced the discourse on public health approaches to gambling harm prevention. Some of his other areas of research and evaluation include single-event sports betting in Canada, responsible gambling innovations for online lottery, gambling risk and harm prevention among East and South Asian gamblers in Ontario, and the impact of ATM harm minimization at pachinko parlors in Japan.
